Pass The Bucket: Stephen Murray...

Almost four years ago, the life of professional BMX rider and three-time U.S. gold medalist Stephen Murray was thrown a proverbial curveball. At the BMX Dirt Finals of the Dew Actions Sport Tour in Baltimore, Maryland, a double backflip would ultimately go on to paralyze Murray from the neck down. In this Pass the Bucket with Vans, Stephen Murray provides an inspirational story of coping with being paralyzed and his new outlook on life, which enables him to carry out and maintain a fruitful life. Following his injury, Murray started up his foundation, “Stay Strong,” which can be seen here.

The Bicycle City Trailer...

This is so refreshing to see! What happens to an impoverished developing nation town when you flood it with 20,000 bicycles? You lift three times that number of people out of poverty. Pedals for Progress, and founder David Schweidenback, have been shipping used American bicycles to Rivas, Nicaragua for the last two decades and the transformation has been incredible. Offered above is the trailer for The Bicycle City, with further information on assistance in funding available here. Enjoy!

Stussy x W-Base: How I Roll...

Stussy and W-Base released a new video shot in the streets of Tokyo of their recent collaboration, a new 26″ BMX, a reproduction model from the 1970s, of course updated with modern characteristics and construction. The cruiser features an old school look with plenty of attention to detail, including Stussy branding, Oakley B-1B grips and an engraved front end reading “Ride Tough Little Boys.” The bike will see a release on April 7 through W-BASE, with availability via Stussy chapter stores and web shops on April 18, 2011.

Recently Played...

Soulection Radio - "This was one of my top three shows out of the 22. This is what you call a BEAT SESSION. So many heaters in here! I wasn't able to play everything I had, but I played a majority of what I brought with me. New music by: BMB, B. Lewis, Sunclef, Sepalcure, Glen Astro, Dibiase, Bahwee & eQ, Ta-Ku + more. You most likely don’t know these people. So Change that. Do your homework & research these artists."
Enjoy!

Steven Jenson: 'Wake Me Up' & 'Arizona Edit'...

1991: GZA, RZA & ODB...

"Crazy rare 1991 interview (and freestyle) featuring GZA (then doing business as the Genius), Ol' Dirty Bastard (then going by Ason Unique), and RZA (then known as Prince Rakeem) on short-lived, local Bronx public access program, Rhythm & Soul."

This is pre-Wu when they went by the name All In Together Now Crew. The fourth (and Silent) guy is Allah Mathematics.Enjoy!

We Found Earl Sweatshirt...

Could it be true, has Earl Sweatshirt really been found?! Complex Magazine claim to have found the missing member of Odd Future!

I certainly hope so, as much hype as there is around Odd Future at the moment its a shame that Earl is missing out on some of that shine, especially as he in my opinion is the strongest lyricist of the group!

"Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt has been missing since the group's rise to prominence, but his presence is still felt. You can feel the energy at their live shows: Fans yell for Earl tracks to be played, and the Wolf Gang wilds out like the man legally known as Thebe Kgositsile is right next to them. But he's not, and locating the talented (alleged) 17-year-old is a task no one has been able to accomplish. Until now."

Check out their story in full at Complex.com

But wait hold up!

This article seems to have touched a nerve with OF top boy Tyler, The Creator, who has air his views through his Twitter account, he's not a happy bunny:
