Red Bull Mini Drome...

"Red Bull introduces the world's smallest velodrome to the UK fixed gear scene. On January 15, 2011, Red Bull Mini Drome will be coming to York Hall in London's East End (York Hall, 5 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green, London, E2 9PJ). In a UK first, Red Bull will be creating the world's smallest velodrome to challenge fixed gear riders from across the capital. Application is now open, if you want to ride at Red Bull Mini Drome enter your details into the form adjacent to this page, we will be in contact soon.

Qualifying will start at 3pm and is open to over 100 competitors in a single timed race. Riders will be timed using the Velotrack Timing System. The 32 fastest riders in qualifying across the 10 laps will progress through the competition to the finals, which will be a single pursuit race format held from 7pm."

Blu: 2010 Releases and features...

"Blu did not release any official projects in 2010. And many of his releases and features went under the radar. However, he did drop leaks from both his upcoming solo project NoYork! and his eagerly anticipated follow up to Blu and Exile’s Below the Heavens.

In all, he was either featured on, or released/leaked a total of 20 tracks. Pretty good output without any official releases. While I personally don’t love everything he has been working on lately, there are some true gems in here, such as Seasons, WinterWine, The Day, Radio Daze and The Richers, among others."

Classic MK1 Golf! Everbody loves a tidy MK1 Golf, myself included. It was the original hot hatch in GTI form and today still has a loyal following in the world over! If i could find a tidy base model i'd happily undertake it as a project to go alongside my MK2 Golf project. Anyway, here are a few examples of modified MK1s. Enjoy!

This lil white Rabbit has been built by Andy Waite of AK Bodycraft. Running a highly modified 1.8T 20v lump he manages a 9.89 1/4 mile run! Very impressive for a car with the aerodynamics of a block of wood.
